The wastewater discharged from the production of activated carbon by Datong Quesheng Activated Carbon Co., Ltd. consists of four types of water. The sewage treatmentplant focuses on treating 15T/H high-concentration industrial wastewater and 25.5T/H concentrated brine. The treated effluent isrecycled as cooling tower circulating water.

1. Concentrated brine is purified and condensed by reverse osmosis system after multi-media filter and activated carbon filter. Pure water is recycled. After reverse osmosis concentrated water is evaporated by evaporator, the high salt content in concentrated water is crystallized.

2, high concentration industrial wastewater through gas stripping and extraction to recover most of the ammonia solution and sodium phenolate, and theninto the biochemical treatment system. Biochemistry adopts advanced MBR membrane method.

3. The sewage after biochemical treatment is adsorbed by activated carbon, then enters the reverse osmosis treatment device, pure wateris reused, concentrated water is hardened by double alkali method, then purified by two stages of reverse osmosis, and finally evaporated and crystallized by three-effect evaporator.
